The Grocer's Award: A competitive program where three state school teams competed to develop the best product/service according to the given brief.
My Role: Project Manager - Oversaw team tasks, led research efforts, and coordinated weekly meetings with tutors and teachers.
Project Brief: 'Financing the Future Sustainably' - Create a youth-based business or investment product that could raise £500,000 over five years to support a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managed team workflow and deadlines
- Led research initiatives within our school
- Coordinated with industry mentors from investment, advertising, and business sectors
- Presented our final product to judges including Tim Campbell (first winner of The Apprentice)
